Return To Rainy Day!

Our July get together will find us back at Rainy Day Art Supplies. Kelly and crew have been very good to us and wanted to host another night of sketching, gab and all the usual BS. So, if you can stomach a few hours talking crap about art, music and movies and whatever else bubbles to the surface, come on down and spend some time with us.

Kiss me, I'm going to MCS

Our next get together will bring us back to Rainy Day Art Supplies in Grosse Pointe Woods on Saturday, March 16th. The fun starts at 6 and goes to 10, so bring your sketchbook, paints, crayons, or whatever. We'll be hanging out and talking the usual nonsense.

Art & Sole Festival

Motor City Sketch will be at the Art & Sole Fest in Grosse Pointe this weekend doing sketches and selling original artwork all the proceeds from these will be donated to the Belle Isle Aquarium and their efforts to open on a regular basis and to maintain costs of doing so. Jay Shimko, Jon Wallace, John Marroquin, Chris Sanchez and Bruce Gerlach will be on hand doing sketches. All the artists will also be selling their own materials such that one would see at cons.

Come on down, this will be the first time illustrators will be represented at the festival!

July Meet Up

Our next gathering of MCS will be at the Rainy Day Art Supply store on Friday, July 8 from 6:00 to 10:00pm. We've never had a meeting here before, so it should make for a great time! Remember to bring your own refreshments, if you so desire them.
