Our November meet will be bringing us to the doorstep of Detroit's own Dakota Inn Rathskeller! A traditional Bavarian style hall with the best beer, food and live music! If you've never been to the Rathskeller before, now is your chance and you're not going to want to miss it! Bring your sketchbooks! Bring your pencils! Join us on Thursday November 20th! That night the Dakota Inn will be hosting an anything goes sing along with Kerry Price from 7:00-9:30 pm! See you there!

Motor City Sketch

We are a Social Network for creatives and we hold Drink and Draw type of events. The purpose of this group is to bring the creative community of the Detroit area together to network, share ideas, socialize and share in a beverage at the same time. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or a seasoned vet, have a comic or manga style, traditional artist or graf artist. We just want to hang out with people like ourselves and hopefully make some friends along the way.

Come and work on projects, sketch, or just chit chat. Perhaps some peeps will buy you your favorite drink in exchange for a doodle! If you know any other artists, writers or creatives - spread the word.

Non-artists- come and hang, and soak up the creativity of a bunch of cool cats!

The event will happen once a month at a coffee shop, local bar, pub, ale house, saloon, tavern or whatever joint we decide upon.
