Inktober!

It's hard to believe that we haven't had a meet up since March, but we have rebooted, recharged, revolted, etc. Well, to be honest, we have always been revolting.

Anyways, out next session of MCS shenanigans will be next week at the Black Lotus Brewery in Clawson. Bring your business cards, share what you are working on, and all that. Here are the details:

Motor City Sketch

We are a Social Network for creatives and we hold Drink and Draw type of events. The purpose of this group is to bring the creative community of the Detroit area together to network, share ideas, socialize and share in a beverage at the same time. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or a seasoned vet, have a comic or manga style, traditional artist or graf artist. We just want to hang out with people like ourselves and hopefully make some friends along the way.

Come and work on projects, sketch, or just chit chat. Perhaps some peeps will buy you your favorite drink in exchange for a doodle! If you know any other artists, writers or creatives - spread the word.

Non-artists- come and hang, and soak up the creativity of a bunch of cool cats!

The event will happen once a month at a coffee shop, local bar, pub, ale house, saloon, tavern or whatever joint we decide upon.
